PLAID3 — Public Library AI Demonstrations, Discoveries, Discussions — is a focused team building AI training, consulting, and tools for public libraries. We believe public libraries can be a trustworthy learning source for AI-curious community members, and we build everything with that belief in mind.
Libraries have always been the place where communities go to learn, ask questions, and access resources they couldn't otherwise afford. That hasn't changed — but the resources have. AI is now central to how people find jobs, access services, understand health information, and navigate civic life. Libraries are uniquely positioned to be the place where communities learn to use AI well: safely, critically, and with privacy intact.
